BRC - British Retail Consortium

BRC (British Retail Consortium) represents all major British retailers. The aim is to support the retailers to conform fully to all legislation, improve management and quality control internally and thus protect and safeguard the consumer with regards to the quality, safety and health of products. The BRC standard has unified the methods of checking so that quality, safety and health are always a priority and are the best available.

The majority of British retailers require accreditation by the BRC to become a supplier of branded goods.

The above standards are categorised by A, B and C. Needless to say Oleificio R.M. was awarded Category A.
