Environmental Commitment – Solar Power System

OLEIFICIO R.M. has installed a 4000 m² solar power system to produce electricity and safeguard the environment.
A solar panel is a specific type of panel that is employed to transform solar energy into electricity. No other form of fuel is used when electricity is produced with a photovoltaic generator. As such, it has zero gas emissions, no greenhouse effect, and does not create other pollutants.
We believe in using solar power. It is an alternative, renewable source that is always available and cuts down on environmental pollution.
This project is not an isolated initiative for its own sake. OLEIFICIO R.M.'s objective is to continue travelling down this road in an attempt to develop technologically advanced systems that safeguard the environment and ensure a better future for everyone.

The Enel (The Italian Electricity Company) Green Team visited our olive oil bottling plant in Tuscany. The importance we give to the quality of the product is as big as the quantity of energy that the silos need to keep the oil constantly at the same temperature.
Great energy means great responsability. In order to reduce the pollution and make use only of the socalled « clean » energy, we have installed around 2000 photovoltaic panels. May the force (of the sun) be with us!
