OLEIFICIO R.M. SpA is committed to providing optimum quality products made using highly select raw materials. As such, all of its oils are subjected to an array of chemical and organoleptic tests.
The process begins when the oil is purchased at the press. Once it reaches the company, it is analysed again to ensure that the properties of the oil selected are the identical to those of the oil that has reached the company. Then, a panel of exert tasters with physiological qualifications certified by the Region of Tuscany verifies that the organoleptic properties of the product meet the company's high standards. Upon reaching the company, the oil is analysed at its laboratory to ensure that its chemical-physical properties meet the needs of the company and its clients in full. Once authorised by the tasters and the laboratory manager, the oil is transferred inside silos, where it undergoes further controls to verify that its properties have remained intact during this last passage.The oil is collected and stored in tanks located inside covered facilities, where it is kept in a protected environment all year around
OLEIFICIO R.M has developed a storage area that allows its oil to maintain all of its properties intact. In fact, oil easily absorbs odours as well as volatile and fat-soluble substances that affect its organoleptic characteristics. Therefore, it must be stored in an environment devoid of smells that has been kept scrupulously clean and hygienic.
Before it is bottled, the company's tasters employ all of their skills, experience and professionalism to blend the oils and create products whose organoleptic properties remain unvaried over time. If required, the oil can also be filtered using filters with natural substances. Then, the oil is tested again at the laboratory to verify that its chemical-physical properties have remained unaltered during this key passage.
All of the company's packing lines are equipped with a blower that uses a series of filters to inject highly pressurised sterile air into bottles before they are filled, so that they are guaranteed to be hygienic and perfectly sterile.
OLEIFICIO R.M. has a system of 70 micron filters, which are located at inlet for each filling machine and ensure that no impurities remain inside the oil. With its numerous controls, OLEIFICIO R.M guarantees the safety of its products and scrupulously verifies that the entire olive oil production process is carried out faultlessly.
