Currently, the company occupies an area of 15,000 m², of which 10,000 m² are indoors. Its modern production plant boasts a capacity of 30,000 bottles per hour, with a storage capacity of over 3,600 tons.
Over the past twenty years, the company has enjoyed an excellent growth trend, which has allowed it to triple the number of staff members on its books and achieve a turnover of € 60 million. These results have made Oleificio R.M. one of the leading players in the Italian olive oil market.
Today, the company operates through several distribution channels: normal trade, horeca, retail distribution and importers and has focused all of its efforts on creating customized products, with private labels being equal to 80% of its overall turnover. Furthermore, the company has specialised in both European (78% of total turnover) and Italian (13%) extra virgin olive oils.
The olive oil company Oleificio R.M. plays a leading role on foreign markets as well. It is present in Europe and has seen a successful expansion in the Americas as well as in Asia. Moreover, it boasts consolidated clients and market shares in Italy. In 2008, the company registered a turnover of over € 60 million, of which 20% in Italy and the remaining 80% abroad. Production was equal to 18 million litres and grew by 26%. Indubitably, the company's most popular product is its extra virgin olive oil, which is equal to 91% of its turnover and reflects its marked penchant in its ongoing search for quality.
