OLEIFICIO R.M. has been making the most of its avant-garde technology to produce its unique olive oil for four generations now, providing a perfect balance between past and future.
The company took its first steps in 1901 with Cesare Taddeucci, grandfather to the current owners, Cesare and Umberto Rocchi. Mr Taddeucci followed each phase of production - from its development, to growing, looking after the plants, pressing and bottling - with painstaking care, making the quality of his products famous both in Lucca and its surroundings.
When Mario Rocchi (Cesare Taddeucci's son-in-law) took over the business, he brought with him changes in transportation and technology, as well as to the company. This allowed Oleificio R.M. to expand rapidly and helped its spread the Rocchi name and image.
Today, Cesare and Umberto Rocchi have taken over at the helm of the company. With the support of their children, Mario, Francesca, Paolo and Massimo, they export their products throughout the world. The size of the company has modernised its organisation, which is wholly in tune with its family-based management, giving rise to a structure that skillfully combines tradition and innovation.
