A story of passion and hard work that started in 1901 in Lucca, a land where the culture of olive oil has been deeply rooted for centuries, and its secrets are handed down from generation to generation.
It is there that Cesare Taddeucci, and his son in law, Mario Rocchi, after him, begin to select their products and make them known locally, laying the grounds for a success that would take the family brand all over the world.
In the Sixties, after the technological and managerial revamping of the company by Mario Rocchi’s sons and current owners, Cesare and Umberto, the company starts to grow and develop, a process that is still going on.
Currently, the olive oil plant is a leader in the national and international olive oil scenario, and it is Mario, Francesca, Paolo and Massimo Rocchi who must take credit for this accomplishment, as they have injected new life and expertise into the company.
Every single day, this great passion for high-quality olive oil, which with Leonardo Rocchi is now in its fifth generation, is acknowledged and rewarded by ever new consumers, for whom Rocchi brand has already become a household name.

THE OIL MILL
ROCCHI’S QUALITY COMES TO LIFE EVEN BEFORE THE PRODUCT HAS REACHED THE PLANT.
t can be found in the skilful work of the Selectors, who look for the best local olive oil mills, and in the care of the Tasters, who look into the details of each olive oil, chosen from dozens of different varietals and cultivars.
Only those that meet Rocchi’s standards are approved and let into the company’s production process.
At the plant, the selected cultivars are processed and bottled according to the strictest quality standards and stored in a protected area at constant temperature 365 days a year, to make sure their precious properties are not lost with time.
A high-tech system, but a quintessentially artisanal approach, in which every step of the process is unfailingly monitored by experienced staff.
