A new processing line with a capacity of 22,000 p/h has just recently been added to the plant.


Over the years, the company has selected the best national and international olive oil producers, in compliance with strict selection criteria. A quest that continues, every day, through the relentless work of Rocchi’s experienced Selectors who thoroughly screen hundreds of samples in the attempt to find products that fulfil their standards.


The products are tested according to established testing methods that cover every single step or operation in the production process.
Licensed Tasters work in very close synergy with the technicians of the company’s modern laboratory while carrying out such tests.

Olive oil is stored in a special protected environment with a cutting-edge system that keeps optimum storage conditions stable 365 days a year in terms of temperature and isolation, to preserve its original health, organoleptic, physical and chemical properties.


5 packaging lines equipped with blowing machines that blow air into the bottles, guaranteeing perfect hygiene.


Safety, quality and hygiene are the three mainstays of Rocchi’s operating policy.

The plant implements an integrated Management System, it has enforced the HACCP method since as early as 1998, and it has been awarded the most important international certifications: ISO 9001:2015, ISO 22000, ISO 45001:2018, BRC, IFS, Biologico (Reg. CE 834/07 e CE889/08), KOSHER OU, Halal.
Through a continuous improvement of its standards, Rocchi can now export its products all over the world, including countries that enact a strict food safety legislation. This reduces the number of tests that buyers would have to run, thus saving a lot of time and money.
In addition, the company is very sensitive to environmental issues and has equipped itself with a state-of-the-art photovoltaic plant, which as from 2013 will make the entire plant completely self-sufficient in terms of energy.


Rocchi’s quality standards are the result of thorough tests conducted by experienced professionals. The organoleptic tests carried out by the Region’s licensed Tasters are supplemented by tests carried out by the company’s laboratory, which is equipped with a modern range of equipment and instruments for gas-chromatography, high-performance liquid chromatography, mass spectrometry and UV spectroscopy.

For additional chemical or microbiological tests, the oil plant applies to trusted and accredited specialist third-party laboratories, both in Italy and abroad.
